It&#8217;s not entirely true, but it usually doesn&#8217;t forget popular stuff that can be easily backed up (that means static pages, not videos or dynamic pages, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gwern.net\/Search#case-studies\">see here for case stories of hard-to-find stuff<\/a>). There&#8217;s two chief places to go looking for archives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Internet Archive&#8217;s Wayback machine: <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/\">https:\/\/web.archive.org\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>the &#8220;Archive&#8221; site: it&#8217;s currently at <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/\">https:\/\/archive.vn\/<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/\">https:\/\/archive.ph\/<\/a> and some other redirect domains. This service is explicitly censored by Twitter, but they are being lazy about it (for now).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first one is a long-running organization dedicated to backing up stuff on the internet.
