Alice: Nonsense?

Sister: Once more. From the beginning.

Alice: That’s it, Dinah! If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrariwise, what it is, it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?

Dinah: Meow!

Alice: In my world, you wouldn’t say ‘meow’. You’d say ‘Yes, miss Alice’.

Det ovenstående kan i øvrigt tolkes som et argument:

1. Hvis dette er min verden, så siger Dinah (standardnavnet i PVK mod til HL/HL2. Jeg tvivler på en sammenhæng.) ikke Meow. (Sjovt hvordan, at dyrelyde som er ens i verden staves forskelligt på forskellige sprog.)

2. Dinah siger Meow.

3. Dette er ikke min verden.
