Problemer med induktion – raven paradox

Som Kennethamy forklarer:

The origin of the “grue” paradox lies in an earlier paradox, “the raven paradox” originated by the philosopher of science, Carl Hempel. It goes like this:

1. All ravens are black.
2. All ravens are black is logically equivalent to, all non-black objects are non-ravens (by the operation of contraposition).
3. But, then, a white handkerchief would confirm that all non-black objects are non-ravens.
So, therefore, a white handkerchief confirms that all ravens are black.

Men alligevel synes man, at der er noget galt i det. Hvorledes kommer vi ud af kniben?
